Terry Edwards is a Canadian-American engineering consultant and distinguished marine engineering executive, serving as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Gulftec Marine Engineering. He brings decades of technical and leadership experience across offshore infrastructure development, subsea engineering, marine construction, and complex pipeline installation projects.

Under his leadership, Gulftec Marine Engineering has grown into a trusted provider of high-value offshore engineering solutions, delivering innovative and safety-focused services to global energy operators and marine infrastructure clients. Mr. Edwards is recognized for combining strategic vision with hands-on engineering expertise, enabling the successful execution of technically demanding deepwater and subsea projects.

Mr. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Petrochemical Engineering from Stanford University, California, and a Master’s Degree in Marine Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, Massachusetts. In addition to his executive role, he serves as an engineering consultant, providing advisory services on marine project execution, offshore asset optimization, and advanced subsea technologies.

Throughout his career, Mr. Edwards has:
• Led large-scale offshore construction and subsea pipeline installation programs
• Introduced advanced deepwater engineering methodologies and innovative marine technologies
• Built strategic partnerships with international energy operators and government agencies
• Implemented safety-driven operational frameworks that enhance project efficiency and reliability
• Mentored multidisciplinary engineering teams while promoting research-driven technical excellence

His leadership continues to drive innovation, operational integrity, and sustainable growth, reinforcing Gulftec Marine Engineering’s position as a forward-thinking partner in the global marine engineering sector.
